GraphQL presents an alternative to REST for web APIs that is rapidly becoming a popular choice for web and mobile clients due to its ease of use and control. Spring for GraphQL is a new project developed in collaboration between Spring and GraphQL Java contributors that is set to go GA in May, a week before Spring I/O.
The goal for this talk is to provide a comprehensive overview of the programming model and features available in this new project. If you have not yet tried it, the talk should be a good introduction. If you are already a user, you can get insight into decisions made on the way to the 1.0 release.
