BONUS TIPS
~In-textbook sticky notes can be great, but they can also be a little messy. Use sticky-notes as a study tool, not as notes alone!
~Before taking notes, watch a review video on the topic! This will help you understand what your major takeaways from the reading should be/what to focus on.
~Turn your typed notes into an interactive study guide by replacing some of the key words with blanks (making it a fill-in-the-blank!)
~Try to avoid writing definitions verbatim--putting them in your own words makes it more likely for you to remember it AND easier to understand.
~As pretty as Word is, Google Docs allows for easy access to notes on all devices ;)
~If you can't find a good picture to paste into notes, draw one! Visuals help so much.
