How to Install a Saddle Valve - Humidifier Valve
A self piercing saddle valve is an easy do it yourself project if you need to create a water line to a refrigerator for cold water or ice. We are installing a valve in this video for a humidifier.
A self piercing valve can be installed while the water is on. You will install this on the cold water line of copper pipe.
Clamp down the valve tight to the pipe. Turn the valve clockwise to pierce the copper. Then open the valve for water.
