Unboxing the OnePlus 9, including a tour of the triple-lens camera hardware and features, OxygenOS 11.2, and testing the gaming chops with Genshin Impact. This 2021 flagship is more affordable than the Pro model, but the OnePlus 9 does make some sacrifices. For instance, the primary camera has been switched out and the telephoto lens axed entirely. You also get slower wireless charging support, and the display isn't as premium.
All the same, the OP9 should prove stiff competition for Samsung's S20 FE and other upper-mid-range smartphones. That Snapdragon 888 chipset means smooth performance, backed in this Winter Mist model by 12GB DDR5 RAM. Gamers will get good returns from the most demanding Android titles, including Genshin. Plus the OnePlus 9 serves up special game features to help boost your abilities.
As for the camera tech, it's a 48MP primary sensor backed by a 50MP ultra-wide shooter with anti-distortion tech. You also have a simple monochrome lens, but no telephoto shooter.
