This 8 Hours of Wind Noise In Battlefield 4 | Wind sound ambience | Wind sound in ear | Calming Wind Sound Effect were recorded in Battlefield 4 (c) Dice and I recorded this scene in the single-player campaign with a tool called Cinematic Tools. The tool allows you to fly around, hide your weapon, hud, etc. I used an old wired Xbox 360 controller to move around the camera and probably spent way too much time finding a spot to record that had the visuals that I was looking for.
I captured the video using Nvidia ShadowPlay at 1440p resolution / 60 fps and imported it to Davinci and added an adjustment layer to color correct the scene and used a hard limiter + other tweaks on the sounds. The rendering of the scene took around 4 hours and resulted in a 30 GB file that I uploaded to Youtube.
