Sea Lions Carry Cameras to Help Scientists Map Sea Floor
🦭 Scientists in Australia have teamed up with an unlikely collaborator: sea lions. Equipped with cameras, these sea lions have provided 89 hours of footage and mapped around 5,000 square kilometers of the ocean floor.
🐋 Humpback whales are masters of a unique hunting technique that involves blowing bubbles around schools of fish. They trap their prey in a confined area before launching upwards to feast.
