How to install RTL8821CE WiFi Drivers on Ubuntu 20.10 / 20.04 / 18.04 (including derivatives)
In this video, I will show you how to easily install Realtek RTL8821CE WiFi Drivers on Ubuntu and ubuntu based distros (Mint, Elementary, Zorin, Kubuntu, etc...) (DON'T CLICK THIS - http://bit.ly/3pSTQlc)
Go to https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce and download the repo.
Unzip the file and rename the folder from rtl8821ce-master to rtl8821ce.
[You have to rename the file properly or the error would rise.]
$ cd Downloads/rtl8821ce/
$ sudo apt install bc module-assistant build-essential dkms
$ sudo m-a prepare
$ sudo ./dkms-install.sh
P.S: On some case you might need to disable secure boot if the driver hasn’t installed yet after you follow the steps above.
People with laptops with only Wi-Fi connection (without Ethernet connector), use their cell phone connected to Wi-Fi and share the Internet via USB to the laptop.
[reboot your pc/laptop - and the wifi networks should appear]
