Group is an all-in-one networking solution company that connects homes and businesses in the
United Kingdom, working with many of the world's leading technology vendors, software providers, and
cloud & telecom service providers.
You have been called in as a networking consultant to provide advice and work on a new network
upgrade for a pharmaceutical company called ‘BioTek.’ The centre will include modern equipped labs
and other additional system features.
The new centre computer network will incorporate 5 units: Head Office (12 computers), Packing and
Assembling (8 computers), Sales (8 computers), Marketing (8 computers) and a Laboratory (10
computers).
The project manager has asked you to plan, design, implement and test the network infrastructure to

• All staff must be able to log on to any of the networked computers.
A detailed plan for network operation monitoring (performance & security), maintenance, and
troubleshooting must be established.
