RECORD YOUR SCREEN WITH MICROSOFT POWERPOINT
Launch PowerPoint and start a blank presentation
Select the Insert tab from the top menu
Select Screen recording on the far right-hand side
PowerPoint will close and you'll see the 6 recording options
Record, stop, select area, audio, pointer, pin
Select the area of your screen you would like to record
If you are recording your full screen and have hidden the menu you will need to press windows logo + shift + Q to stop the recording
Once you stop the recording the video will open in PowerPoint
If you are not wanting to use the video in PowerPoint
Right-click the video and select "save media as"
This will allow you to save your recording as an MP4
In the case of the demo below, I saved the video as test.mp4 into my videos folder.
