Yelagiri is a perfect destination for a day outing from Bangalore to just relax and enjoy the serenity that the hill station has to offer. There are good places to visit in Yelagiri as we explored few of them and missed few of them as it was a day visit. We also covered Ambur while on our return to Bangalore. Ambur is famous for the biryani and to our surprise it also has leather factory, so you will have the opportunity to buy some good jackets, shoes and bags. A good weekend gate away from Bangalore to explore.
