In this livestream, I welcome my guest Costume/Associate Costume Designer Lindsey Kear and founder of the Costume Consultant. Lindsey will answer my questions on how to get into the costume business, or (for those already working) how to navigate working in TV and Film as a costumer.
About Lindsey Kear:
Lindsey Kear's costume designs / styling have been featured in a wide array of commercials, television, features, print and red carpet. Her early years of working in fashion houses under designers such as Ralph Lauren were spent creating and sourcing textiles for custom garments. After attending The Fashion Institute of Technology’s styling program, her career catapulted her to the west coast. By combining her eye for style and her innate character insight, Lindsey seamlessly pulls together her aesthetic detail for both costume design and styling.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and fostering dogs.
