Steve Ritter is the Founder and Chief Scientist of Carnegie Learning, a global leader in artificial intelligence for K-12 education. Dr. Ritter pioneered the education technology industry, developing the first AI-powered math curriculum over 25 years ago. The author of numerous papers on the design, architecture and evaluation of adaptive instructional systems, Dr. Ritter is recognized as an expert on the design and evaluation of educational technology and educational analytics. At Carnegie Learning, Dr. Ritter leads a research team devoted to using learning engineering to improve the efficacy of the company’s products. Unekwu-Ojo Shaibu is a Learning Engineering Product Manager at Carnegie Learning, working on MATHStream, an award-winning EdTech product. He drives the production of learning features, testing capabilities, and data collection mechanisms that enable digital learning experiences that accelerate student learning. He is also leading efforts to develop AI virtual helpers using video generative AI to enhance math learning outcomes for low-income students. Additionally, he has improved the accessibility of the MATHStream product, supporting learners with disabilities. Unekwu-Ojo leverages technology to solve complex problems and create meaningful impacts, driving innovation and inclusivity.
