Decorating Our Fireplace Mantel & Holiday Vignette Ideas Christmas 2024!!!
In this video I show you our playful and fun traditional toy store inspired Christmas mantel above our fireplace for 2024. In the last video I showed you our tree in more detail. This area will be coordinated with our red and gold in the dining room. We were inspired by toy stores from days gone by or in modern times it could be a version of a Nutcracker tree as well. Toy stores will have trains, drums, soldiers (nutcrackers) bright primary colors and we wanted to use black and white as well. We used harlequin and black and white previously on a tree and we wanted to incorporate it again in this tree. The black and white really pops and is very dramatic in the look. This area of the house has a common red theme as we move through these connected spaces so they have a similar feel in color. In the next video I will show you our latest subscriber gift haul with a ton of new specialty glass ornaments that we received. It is amazing the support system we have here on YouTube. Ornaments seen on tree and mantel are from Hobby Lobby last year and this year and Walmart for the colored glass ornament balls multipacks. Brass horns are vintage and drums were also a gift. Larger and Specialty ornaments we have had in our collection. The santa is vintage as well as the mercury glass train and Santa on the mantel.
