A quick and dirty check of input delay on my set-up using Ryu's light punch in the PS1 version of Street Fighter II': Champion Edition, from Street Fighter Collection 2; basically I use my cell phone to film myself pressing the punch button, then play the video and count the frames (you can do this with the video if you're using YouTube with a computer: pause it and press the "." key to advance frame-by-frame!) between when I have the button fully depressed, and when Ryu starts to play his punching animation.

The controller used is a PS4 Hori HRAP V, connected to the game running in a PS2 via a Brook Super Converter. (I've tested the Super Converter separately for its own lag, and it doesn't seem to introduce any amount of lag I can detect:    • (see desc) Input Lag #3 - Brook PS2 t...   ).

The result: I count 4 frames of lag, mostly, sometimes dropping as low as 3 frames.

Compare this with 5 frames, sometimes up to 6, in the PS4 version of Street Fighter II': Champion Edition (in Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection):    • Input Lag #11 - Street Fighter II': C...
