Runway ML Motion Brush for custom object movement in image to video
Runway ML is a creative platform offering AI tools to create and enhance images and videos. Runway ML is probably best known for video generation using text-to-video (entering a text prompt) and image-to-video (turning an existing image into a video.) But, Runway ML has 29+ AI tools. I included the "+" because some of the tools, and a few features within them, are above and beyond the tools Runway includes in their AI Tools section on the home page.
In this video, we'll experiment with one of Runway ML's most talked-about tools: Motion Brush. The motion brush let's you do a little painting on a video (don't worry, you don't need to be an artist) and tell Runway how you want each object to move (up, down, left, right, ambient), and how much of each movement. You can control 5 different objects or elements! Runway will then take your instructions and turn your image into a video with movement based on your instructions from the motion brush.
