Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel Albares on Friday condemned the Israeli offensive on the occupied West Bank as a new level of “permanent violence” that “jeopardises the two-state solution”.
Israel launched its largest offensive on the occupied West Bank since the second Intifada, with raids and drone strikes targeting Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas, killing at least 19 Palestinians since Tuesday.
Israel has killed 663 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and more than 40,000 in Gaza since the beginning of its war on Gaza.
