Sand sculpture festival «Greatness of Russia. From Peter the Great to the present day» (2022)
Annual festival of sand sculptures on the beach of Peter and Paul fortress. Theme of this year's festival is "Greatness of Russia. From Peter the Great to the present day" – dedicated to the 350th anniversary the first Russian emperor. The exhibition presents 23 sculptural compositions made by masters from Russia and Belarus. Images of famous Russian military leaders, scientists, cultural and art figures of the XVII-XX centuries remind of Russia's achievements in various fields on for three centuries.
May 27 - September 12, 2022, the beach of the Peter and Paul fortress (St. Petersburg).
