How to Find Word in Google Docs | Find and Replace in Google Documents

When your document is getting longer and you need to locate specific content quickly, this feature can be a real-time-saver. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to effectively search for words or phrases in your Google Docs document.
👉Start by opening the Google Docs document where you want to search for a word or phrase.
👉In the top menu bar, click on 'Edit'.
👉From the 'Edit' dropdown menu, select 'Find and Replace'.
👉A 'Find and replace' dialog box will appear on the right side of your document. In the 'Find' field, type the word or phrase you want to find.
👉Press 'Enter' or click on the magnifying glass icon to begin the search.
👉If there are multiple occurrences of the word or phrase, you can use the arrow buttons in the dialog to navigate through them.
👉If you also want to replace the word or phrase with something else, you can enter the replacement in the 'Replace with' field and click 'Replace' to replace the current instance. Click 'Replace all' to replace all instances in the document.
👉When you're done, click 'Done' to close the 'Find and replace' dialog.
