Final Update To "Still Alive": The Game I Want To Make - Project Settlement
This is the final video to both the "Still Alive" series and KOKOSterns Youtube channel. I will be showing and explaining Eyals passion project: Settlement (or sttlmnt as he started spelling it).
Settlement is supposed to be a 2D omnidirectional hybrid of a strategy game with a single currency base building / expansion system combined with exploration aspects turning the game into a rogue like experience. You're in control of the main character who will indirectly take control of peasants by assigning them roles, as well as set out to explore to improve available buildings and hero skills. Each run is supposed to take up to one hour at which point you'll try to slay the enemy which threatens your settlement.
