If Google chrome downloads PDF file instead of opening them automatically then let us see what to do. For example this is a sample PDF. If I open it then instead of opening it from the chrome it is downloaded. So, let us see what to do. Got to this menu option here. Go to "Settings". Scroll down. Go to "Advanced". Scroll down. Go to "content settings". Scroll down. Go to "PDF documents". Now right now, right now download PDF files is enabled. So, disable it. So, what happens now PDF will be automatically opened in Chrome instead of downloading. For example I will open this. Now you can see PDF file is automatically opened.
