The goal post at the south end zone of Neyland Stadium welcomed Tennessee’s history-changing kick and then gave its life.
A split-second after Chase McGrath’s 40-yard field goal fluttered just over the cross bar to seal the Vols’ 52-49 win over Alabama, fans flooded the field and ripped down the structure.
