Tutorial Italo Disco | Righeira "Vamos a la Playa"
Righeira released "Vamos a la Playa" in 1983. A song about going to the beach and enjoy the atom bomb. Very depressing lyrics, but so uplifting music. Over the 4 decades since its release this has become an iconic Italo Disco song that is still popular mainstream.
On the B-side of the original vinyl release you find a semi-instrumental version which is gold when you try to pick out the separate parts of the arrangement. Gold Jerry, GOLD!
A client of mine wanted me to recreate it as faithful as possible, and now, with a Greek vocal, the song is ready to be enjoyed again, with a twist.
