Convert Image to Text Easily with Google Drive and Google Doc
In this Episode of 1 Minute IT Tips with Dr. Chang, we are learning how to quickly extract all the text in an image file by using Google Drive and Google Doc.
Google Doc comes with an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system. The system would automatically be used with any image files that is open with Google Doc. It is considered as one of the fastest way to extract text from your image file. It also works with handwriting also, though the accuracy is not that good.
Instructions:
1) Upload the image file to Google Drive
2) Open up the image file in Google Drive with Google Doc
3) Copy the text that is extracted and clean up the text
4) Use the text in any application you like!
