According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in Chhattisgarh, "the trend of drug trafficking is changing".

"Drug smugglers are moving from natural drugs to synthetic drugs, which produce very little quantity of drugs but cause the most harm and are also the highest priced. The use of sedatives in Chhattisgarh is higher than the national average," he said.
