As we all are aware of how Facebook has monopolized the entire social media market on the Internet,
In 2020 still, Facebook tops the chart of 2.2 billion active users per month, so it’s not hard to guess how many people still are into creating new accounts or just being connected to old friends using Facebook,
as of now, Facebook is getting changed much in aspects of features, their user interface has been updated for iOS, Android & even desktop layout is getting new looks slowly,
so many people look forward to use their Facebook profile for many purposes professional, socializing, checking memes & much more but they look more forward to stay unknown by others so it requires you to either using account through a fake name or using just single name as you won't be the only person with your first name,
& therefore people look to hide their last name from Facebook profile but as everyone looks forward to creating an anonymous Facebook account but it's against of facebook T&C to create single name Facebook account,
thus everyone does look for multiple tricks which can allow them to remove or hide their surname which is the last name of their Facebook profile,

the method to hide the last name of Facebook account is quite easy, & won't take more than a minute or two if done properly,
00:16 Step 1 - Visit Facebook & open your profile in which you want to remove the last name,
0:33 Step 2 - visit settings option from the upper-right drop-down menu,

Now I will show how to remove the last name, without getting any errors,
1:30 Step 3 - here you can see below there are several languages given by Facebook to opt whichever region you belong or language you speak,
now the language I'm selecting is Tamil, it's an Indian language from South Indian state Tamilnadu, where people don't have last names for some reason & so Facebook let them allow to change names without last name,
just click on the language & your Facebook profile will be translated into that specific language entirely, I recommend you using chrome for handy translate option,
1:44 Step 4 - now I will remove the last name & change it,
before changing you must enter your account password & know that till next 60 days you won't be able to change your Facebook profile name again,
2:01 - & you can see the name has been changed successfully without last name,
In case if you belong from another country & face any error or it doesn't work, you may have to use VPN for Indian IP,
now after you have changed your name successfully, for another 60 days you won't be able to change the name, & for the next 48 hours, you will just have the option to revert to old name.
