With Lord of the Dance now on tour in Wales, it's time to introduce Team Lord's amazing Welsh vocalist, Celyn Cartwright, performing Mo Ghile Mear from the 25 YEARS OF STANDING OVATIONS soundtrack.
To do this, we've put together a special music video: opening night backstage, then and now. In 1996 and in 2022, cameras were rolling backstage, capturing both the legendary OG Troupe and the Lord25 troupe in final preparations on the day the curtain went up. Now we combine footage from both for you to enjoy.
This isn't a performance video. Technically, this isn't even a rehearsal video; there's no actual dancing in this video. Instead, this is about family: specifically, the intense bonds that form between people engaged in an incredibly difficult common cause, and the emotions written on their faces as they go forth as a team to win.
