Ingredients:
🍩1/2 cup milk
🍩1 tsp vinegar
🍩1+ 1/2 cups maida + 1 tbsp ( if needed)
🍩1/4 cup castor sugar
🍩1/2 tsp baking powder
🍩1/4 tsp baking soda
🍩1/4 tsp salt
🍩1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
🍩1/4 cup melted butter
🍩1 tbsp curd
🍩Oil for frying
For the glaze-
🍩1/2 cup chopped chocolate
🍩2 tbsp vegetable oil
METHOD
1. In a bowl add milk and vinegar and let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. Take another bowl and add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and grated nutmeg .
3. Make a well and add milk mixture, melted butter and curd in the dry ingredients.
4. Combine it using a wooden spoon or spatula until a dough is formed.
5. Cover it with a cloth and let it sit aside for 30-40 minutes.
6. Dust flour on the slab and roll out the dough and cut using a donut cutter.
7. In a kadhai, add oil and bring up to temperature for frying.
8. Fry the donuts until fully cooked.
9. Ina bowl add chopped chocolate and microwave until fully melted. Add oil to adjust the glaze consistency.
10. Dip the donuts in chocolate glaze and serve .
