Enhancement Cores are one of the most important materials to have heading into Beyond Light, as they're needed to masterwork your gear.
To masterwork a weapon, it takes 17 enhancement cores! So you'll need a bunch of these.
Banshee daily mods give 1 enhancement core each
Some of Spider wanted mods give 1 enhancement core each
Finest Matterweave are a guaranteed core, but take a long time to use
Don't waste enhancement prisms for shards. PRISMS are much better than CORES.
You can use the old-school core farm, by trading in materials at the planetary vendors that are going away. Anytime you get a masterwork piece of gear, it will dismantle into 1-2 cores.
