Budget microphones from brands like Fifine, Tonor, Maono, and even Samson get many questions on whether they are worth it or not. Takstar, a camera gear maker, has recently entered the consumer PC accessories market and now we have the GX1: a RGB noise cancelling budget USB microphone. Takstar is clearly trying to set themselves apart right away by offering features that other microphones in this priceclass either do not have, or do not advertise they have, such as noise reduction, rgb lighting, capacitive touch to mute, phone compatibility via OTG, PS4, and PS5 compatibility. But is it any good? Lets test it out and find out!
