Zach begins by discussing how identifying potential problems and solutions before you start getting into the nitty gritty of design can save you a huge thermal headache down the road. Ethan then validates this by showing an example LED Driver in which he decided to throw a "bunch of vias" at the top of the board in an effort to control convection currents.
