In this video, I will show you, how to setup your pfsense for voice IP

to prevent loss of quality on your voice IP, we will setup a traffic shaping for it.

Information about my network: I have 30 megabits download and 10 megabits for upload
go to this website to test your speed test

Go to firewall
Click on firewall
Click on traffic shaper
Click on wizard
If you have only one internet connection
Click on dedicated link
Here, one is OK for me because I have one internet
click next
here in Local interface
choose HFSC
in WAN here
click HFSC

Now I give information about my network
Upload I have 10 megabits
I select here 10 megabits

For download I have 30 megabits
Click on next

Here click on prioritize voice over IP traffic
I select here

Provider, if I have a provider, I will select the provider
I can leave here also in generic

if your voice IP provider give you upstream sip server, enter the address here
I will leave 20 percent of my bandwidth for voice IP
My upload is 10 megabits
I will leave 2 megabits for voice IP

Here, my download is 30 megabits
I will leave 20 percent for voice IP
6 megabits
Select next
I don’t need nothing here, select next
I don’t need nothing here also
Select next
Click on finish
Restart filter
Now you just need to test if everything is OK
