This Android application has a good mix of commonly used nouns, adjectives, and verbs. Nouns are introduced with their respective definite articles to help you recognize noun genders.
You can use colors to help identify the two languages or to quickly "see" your new language's genders; genders are color coded to help you recognize them (blue for masculine and red for feminine).
To improve the text to speech synthesis, you should consider downloading the free IVONA Text to Speech application.
On your phone, you match words on a 4x4 grid; on a tablet, it is more challenging - it works on a 6x6 grid.
