We have noticed that some editing workstations began slowing down recently and discovered that the problem was caused by where Adobe stores Media Cache files. To rectify this issue, all producers (or station techs) should follow the instructions provided. Keep in mind that since the default setting is tied to a user account, it must be accomplished while the user is logged into their machine and doesn't require any Admin rights.

All editing workstations should have a System drive (C:), Data (D:), and a Media drive (M:) to use these procedures. Please adjust as needed if you have a non-standard configuration
