In this video I embark on a solo two-week wilderness canoe-camping trip through the boreal forest surrounding the Berens River. This was a demanding 170km journey through remote terrain in Manitoba, Canada. During this trip I was able to apply bushcraft skills, including fire lighting, natural navigation and foraging. It was a fantastic experience and I'm very happy to be able to share video of the trip with you. In this video, which forms the first part, I arrive on Family Lake by float plane then start my journey by finding the outflow into Night Owl Lake, where I camp for the first night. This sets me up for the epic journey that's about the take place....
