Once you craft your bow and arrows, make sure you equip it in your character menu slot.
Once equip, make sure the arrow is also equipped. ( right click , then click equip ). If you craft your first arrows, it should auto-equip.
Then when hunting, press and hold Q + LMB to shoot an arrow.
