O’Shae Sibley’s friend pays tribute to him at memorial service
During a memorial service for O’Shae Sibley, a gay man who was fatally stabbed on July 29 after getting into a dispute over dancing at a Brooklyn gas station, Otis Pena remembered his friend as the “light that everyone in this room feels.” A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in Sibley’s death, which has been classified as a hate crime.
