How to properly clean a computer monitor without damaging it (most people do it wrong!)
Since most people do it incorrectly, today I'll be showing how to properly and safely clean a computer monitor without damaging it. You just need a clean microfiber cloth and a source of clean water. Filtered water is preferred (distilled is best), as regular tap water has minerals that may build up on your screen over time. Do not use cleaning agents like Clorox or Windex, they may damage coatings on the panel. Be gentle when cleaning the monitor, you don't want to push dust and other debris into the monitor panel. Turn the monitor screen off for best visibility. This method works on laptop screens and gaming monitors too.
