This video is part one of a three-part series that covers building a weather monitoring station using a Raspberry Pi.

By the end of the third part, the sensor readings will be stored in a SQL database and the data can be downloaded to a CSV or Excel file via a web server.

In part one, I go over the hardware and software used, the assembly and the Python code to get the sensor working and outputting to a console window and two LCD screen options.
