Hi Everyone, In this video I'm gonna show you How to create a quick 3D Text in GIMP. GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program which the open source Image Editing software.

Note:
GIMP is the Alternative for Photoshop. Hence you can try this same method in Photoshop as well.

Steps:
1. Open GIMP
2. Create a New Image with the Width - 1920px and Height - 1080px
3. Type in the Text
4. Make the Text layer to Image Size
5. Give the Text your Favorite Color
6. Go to Filters - Map - Map Objects
7. Tick the Transparent Layer
8. On the Orientation tab change the rotation of the X axis and Z axis value to -40 and hit OK
9. Make the Text Layer Alpha to Selection
10. Add a another Transparent Layer and fill it with Different Color and this will be the Thickness layer
11. Move this layer down the Text Layer
12. With the Thickness Layer Active go to Filters - Blur - Motion Blur
13. Change the Length - 50 (Thickness) and Angle - 270 (Downward Motion)
14. Then Duplicate the Thickness layer until it become solid
