Welcome back! After a much-needed vacation, I’m back and we start with a very important video where I share lessons learned the hard way on how to make exercise a habit. YOU'RE GONNA WANT TO CHECK THIS OUT IN FULL! The good thing is the weather lately has been kind of cool so we get to see a greener path up to the top. As usual, my video is long, so you can experience some of the long hike, but also because I thought we’d talk at length about how I built the habit of exercise.
Keep in mind that I am not a natural athlete… I was the kid chosen last for sports in school. I sucked at running, barely exercised, and spent half my life obese. How did I change that? Part of it was by accident… I made exercise as important as eating and sleeping. This sounds simple, but most folks fail to do this even though they promise they are doing it!
So during the hike, I share all four main points of how to build your own habit. The important thing is you not just listen passively, you should take notes and act on what you learn, TODAY! It’s not hard to take action today, so you have no excuse.
That’s the fifth point: sometimes you’re standing on the edge of the pool, hoping to take action, but afraid… until you realize, JUST JUMP IN THE POOL!
