Unequal distribution of data between the categories (classes) of a dataset is called Data imbalance. This is usually resolved through generating new data in the minority dataset. This is prevalent in medical field as having the same number of data from sick and unhealthy people are rare. Hence, this project investigate various techniques to address the problem.
