Are you looking to optimize your Jio Gigabit Router for better bandwidth control? In this step-by-step guide, we'll show you how to make the most of your JioFiber connection.
*🔗 Connect to Your Router*
Start by connecting to your Jio Gigabit Router, whether through a wireless or wired connection. Once connected, open your Chrome browser and enter the IP address 192.168.29.1. You'll be prompted to enter your User ID and Password.
If you're logging into the router for the first time, use the default credentials provided by Jio:
*Default User ID:* Admin
*Default Password:* Jiocentrum

*🔒 Accessing the Dashboard*
After entering your credentials, you'll gain access to the JioRouter dashboard. But before we dive into bandwidth control, you'll need to identify the devices you want to manage. You can find device details, including IP addresses and MAC addresses, under the Wireless Lan Clients and LAN Clients options in the Status menu.
*📈 Setting up Bandwidth Control*
Once you've identified your target devices, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Advanced option.
2. Click on Bandwidth Profile.
3. Enable the option by toggling it on.
4. Click "Add" at the bottom left.
5. Enter your internet connection's max speed.
6. Select the priority level.
7. Set the bandwidth percentage for the desired profile users.
8. Click "Save."
9. Go to the Traffic Selector option.
10. Click "Add."
11. Select the profile you created.
12. Enter the IP Address, IP Subnet Details, or MAC address of the devices you want to manage bandwidth for.
