VLOOKUP :-

Pros:-
1) Can easily do the row level search.

Cons:-
1) In case no result is found, it throws #N/A error. (To cater it, we can further use IFERROR excel function in case if we don't want #N/A to be appeared)
2) As it works on Table array, the return value column should always be on the right hand side of the search value column. Also, the table array has to be a continuous range of columns with no column gap.

Because of above drawbacks, now a days, XLOOKUP (the more advanced version of VLOOKUP) function is used.
