How to Fix Exposed Headphone Wires
This video shows you how to fix exposed headphone wires without electrical tape. If your bluetooth headphone wire is broken or being eaten by a cockroach or somehow get exposed wires then follow these steps to fix it up neatly and easily.
Tools for fixing:
A tiny screw driver
A pair of scissors
Plastic tapes
A lighter
A braided rope
Since the wire is being broken on the part that next to the headphone connectors, I’ll open this part using the tiny screw driver
Now, wrap this up with the plastic stripes. Make sure you tightly wrap them up all around the exposed parts of the wire.
No need to wrap them up on parts that don’t get exposed.
Next, use the lighter to lock up on the end of the exposed parts with that plastic tape. Remember you just lit up for a little burning enough for stick it in. That’s enough.
After this done, let’s divide the braided rope into three smaller ropes. We only need two of them for both of the wires. Let’s remove them apart like this.
Now, wrap this braided rope bit by bit on the wires.
First braided side is done. Move to the next braided side.
Alright, that’s how you fix the exposed headphone wires on your bluetooth headphones.
Remember that an exposed wire might not be safe for you since it might have electrical spark, even though it’s tiny, it causes irritation as well as bad audio connection on your headphone.
Furthermore, an exposed wire might not survive well after a while and your wire might be fully broken. Therefore, it’s good to give it a protection layer outside.
