The film became the leader of the 1978 rental: it was watched by over 58 million viewers. In 1979, he was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR named after the Vasiliev brothers. All the music for the film was written by composer ANDREY PETROV. The songs were sung by actors Alice Freundlich and Andrey Myagkov
