Hyperrealism Portraits: A Professional Colored Pencil Artist Reveals Their Portrait Drawing Process
SO EXCITED, PLEASE JOIN ME as I share the process behind my professional colored pencil art! Over the next months, I'll post a series of videos, showing all the steps I take to create drawings for exhibitions and shows. The videos will be a mix between easy video watching through steps or a process, or demonstrations and explanations. You'll gain lots of information and get a glimpse into behind the scene process of making an art project at this scale. I'm so excited and I can't wait to share this with you all and I LOVE THAT!
This first, very short video is just a tiny hint into one of the things to come.
As a professional artist, I had to make a tough decision about this channel. I'll discuss it in an upcoming video. It came down to balancing tutorial videos with my professional art for shows and exhibitions. The workload was overwhelming, and I had to choose. Instead of stopping tutorials, I decided to cut back and invite you to join me on my journey as a professional artist using colored pencils.
In this series, you'll see everything, from grant writing to mounting my papers, concepts, applying for shows, and dealing with acceptance or rejection. Your support has been incredible, and I'm grateful for every subscriber, viewer, comment, and encouragement.
While I'll still produce tutorial videos, you'll see more of my other art journey. Stick around, ask questions, and witness as I draw 12 to 15 - 40" x 60" portraits for exhibition shows.
