I'm going to be honest I didn't write out my goals or print out the photos for my bucket list until after January 1st. The start of my year has been a bit rocky which is completely normal. Trying to go from no routine to a structured one with three new habits without habit stacking isn't easy. This is why I am giving myself space and time to get used to it. However, I am no longer making excuses for myself.
The biggest thing I want to work that I forgot to include in the video is committing to myself. If I say I am going to do something I need to actually follow through. For example one of my habits is reading before bed, This one should be extremely easy because I didnt limit myself. This could mean one page, paragraph, or chapter. I simply have to read something.
I wonder why we fight against ourselves so hard. I know these goals/habits are only meant to better myself yet I struggle to do them regardless of how simple they are. I am someone how has always claimed to enjoy change but that can't be true if such smalls ones stop me in my tracks.
Do y'all experience this too?
