Dear club members and new visitors welcome to our channel! 😎 In this monthly update, we have a chance to witness how powerful the PRR Q2 4-4-6-4 Duplex can be. We have been looking for Trainz's new content for our channel for months, luckily we accidentally found a new Trainz content creator, 🌟 Green Coast studios (https://www.greencoaststudios.org/). This PRR Q2 by Green Coast Studios is a very nicely detailed model with a custom cab and great sound effects. The e-spec is also believable for a powerful engine like this. We love it. 👍🏼
In this video, The 7987hp PRR Q2 is challenged by the gigantic Union Pacific Big Boy and PRR's War Baby, the Class J. As you may note, the PRR Class J was a C&O 2-10-4 design, which was not something the Pennsylvania Railroad really wanted. Once the first PRR's Q2 finished its test, PRR placed an order of 25 Q2, which replaced the original Class J order. The PRR Q2 was the largest non-articulated locomotives ever built and the most powerful locomotives ever static tested, producing 7,987 cylinder horsepower (5,956 kW) on the PRR's static test plant. We will create more drag races for this amazing locomotive for sure!
