In this sports photoshop tutorial, we'll walk through how to create your own custom jersey mockup in Photoshop! The original photo you choose to be the base of the mockup can come from anywhere, but if you're not finding what you need (or don't have rights to use what you want), I've found this is a great application of AI text-to-image generation. I'm still not sure how I feel about using artificial intelligence to create "original" artwork, but it's very helpful for mocking up ideas.
Mockups can be a super effective way to use graphic design to present new ideas, concepts, and different applications of logos/elements. Sports jerseys in particular are a lot of fun to design!
For the basketball jersey mockup in this video I used Adobe Firefly to generate a blank white jersey, then tweaked the image in Photoshop to set up the template. Firefly should also be able to give you solid results for (American) football uniforms, baseball jerseys, etc.
