How To Create MIDI Take Folders in Logic Pro X
MIDI take folders are a useful tool for when you're making beats, because if like me, you freestyle and get lost in the zone, you have the option of having different takes to choose from. MIDI take folders are a lot like Audio take folders except you can't comp the best parts (I'll do another video explaining that in depth) but it does allow you to choose which part you prefer for your beat.
If you haven't got take folders set up all you need to do is:
1. Go to preferences
2. Click 'Recording'
3. Click 'Create Take Folders' in the MIDI section (Cycle Mode)
4. Job done
